very poor pictures and text that was many times just too ...

This manual offered only vague directions for repairing the issues my particular V90, 960 Volvo has. The technology used to produce this manual is older then the 1997 car I'm trying to repair, very poor pictures and text that was many times just too broad. Barely worth the the price I paid. I would buy the manual again, but only for the vehicle data and specifications.

Volvo chilton manual, I have years of experience working on cars the manual serves me well. I use chilton on line as well. Lesser experience may need more information or to read several times . I always explain to my child school is process ,all the answers are in your books . She has been an Honor student for 6 years. Read ,read, read the answer is in the book.

Tries to cover too many models.

Taking care of an aging car requires documentation. Chilton manuals, online repair manuals, online forums and PDF versions of the owner's manual all work together to help me cheaply keep older rides on the road.
This manual tries to cover too many Volvo models and therefore is lacking when it comes to illustrations. For example, installing light bulbs is very different on each of the old Volvo models in this book and the one we needed was not included.
