A book of powerful phrases that may dispel evil

This book appears to be written by an awakened man and compiled by his pupils. There are flaws in translation and structure but overall it is a solid effort.

I have begun to use his protection-formulas. I cannot find them in their original Bulgarian and would like to as the wording is of great importance.

If you are reading this review and are wondering what practical use could a book like this have, I'll put it like this: if you encounter a dangerous man and want to dispel him, recite 3 times: God is love, God is wisdom, I am good, I am truth. Say it with convinction and reverance. If you are still suffering from orgasms or wet dreams then the formula may not work. So this book may save your life though I would hope that you don't fall into such dangerous situations. I have. Once in Colombia a man wanted to hurt me. I repeated the Our Father 3 times and he went away. Another true story is when a sniper was about to kill a spiritual man. The man was told by God to walk outside and put his barefeet on the earth and say "I belong to God". The sniper put away his gun. Certain phrases are indeed powerful. Remember them.

CAROLE WADE earned her Ph.D. in cognitive psychology at Stanford University. At the University of New Mexico she taught courses in psycholinguistics and developed the first course there on the psychology of gender. She was professor of psychology for ten years at San Diego Mesa College, then taught at College of Marin and Dominican University of California. In addition to this text, she and Carol Tavris have written Invitation to Psychol�ogy; Psychology in Perspective; and The Longest War: Sex Differences in Perspective. Dr. Wade has long sought to make psychology accessible to students and the general public, focusing on the promotion of critical-thinking skills. She chaired the APA Board of Educational Affairs’s Task Force on Diversity Issues at the Precollege and Undergradu�ate Levels of Education in Psychology; presented a G. Stanley Hall lecture at the APA convention; and served on the steering committee for the National Institute on the Teaching of Psychology. She is a Fellow of two divisions of the American Psychological Association and a Fellow of the Association for Psychological Science.

CAROL TAVRIS earned her Ph.D. in social psychology at the University of Michigan. In addition to her other books with Carole Wade, she is coauthor, with Elliot Aronson, of Mistakes Were Made (But Not by Me), and author of The Mismeasure of Woman and Anger: The Misunderstood Emotion. She has written on psychological topics for a wide variety of magazines, journals, edited books, and newspapers; some of her essays have been collected in Psychobabble and Biobunk: Using Psychological Science to Think Critically About Popular Psychology. Dr. Tavris lectures widely on topics involving science vs. pseudoscience in psychology and many other subjects of contemporary interest. She has taught in the psychology department at UCLA and at the Human Relations Center of the New School for Social Research in New York. She is a Fellow of three divisions of the American Psychological Associa�tion, a charter Fellow of the Association for Psychological Science, and a member of the editorial board of the APS journal Psychological Science in the Public Interest.

MARYANNE GARRY earned her PhD at the University of Connecticut and did postdoctoral training at the University of Washington before moving to Victoria University of Wellington in 1996. She is best known for her research on the causes and consequences of false memories, including “imagination inflation” and its dangers as a therapeutic technique, the effects of inert substances such as fake alcohol on susceptibility to misleading infor�mation, and the power of photographs to rewrite our childhood stories and bias our decisions. In her efforts to apply psychological science to the law, she has worked with the New Zealand Law Commission and police, served as a Director of the Innocence Project New Zealand, and acted as an expert witness in criminal and civil trials worldwide on the (un)reliability of human memory. She is a Fellow of the Association for Psychological Science and served as President of the Society for Applied Research in Memory and Cognition. Dr. Garry has received her university’s Merit Awards for Excellence in Research and for Excellence in Teaching.

Better than full price but just be careful and grateful handle with love and care

Book was worn when i got it but had all pages intact. There was highlighted areas and markings since it was rented I would expect that. Found important sections by what was already highlighted so it worked out. The worst part was the spine of the book was flimsy so I had to be extra careful with it but other than that its better paying full price for a book I'd only need to use once. I am grateful these books have been passed on for students like me that are in a bind for money.

Typical "For Dummies" Perfection

This book covers it all and leaves no stone unturned, which is typical of any "For Dummies" book. Keep in mind this book is about the planning, building, functions, and construction of beehives. This book is NOT about beekeeping in general, as the title should tell you, but still--take note!

If you are a beekeeper who would like to learn how to build your own hives, or if you are a carpenter or craftsperson who'd like to make money making hives for beekeepers, then this is an excellent resource for you. We haven't been keeping bees for too long, but we've learned that the hives and equipment can add up! We frequently search Craigslist and other sources for handmade hives and accessories. Anyone learning to build beehives should enjoy their profits, as beekeeping is a growing hobby and many beekeepers are in need.

Or, if you'd simply like to build one or two hives for yourself, this is still a valuable resource. The book covers several styles of hives for construction, such as the Langstroth and a top bar hive and an observation hive. There are probably many creative hives out there to be discovered, this book covers several of the more common.

The diagrams and images are clear and helpful in understanding hive construction and function. The book also covers many common hive accessories and how to construct them, such as top feeders, hive stands, solar wax melters (that one is new to us!), and frames. Like I said, no stone has been left unturned. If you are interested in hive construction, look no further.

This is probably the 2nd book I'd say is a must have for beekeepers, the first being The Beekeeper's Bible, which has been our favorite resource. For a beekeeper, even if you're not going to end up building a hive, I think you can learn a few things from this book. It's worth checking out! Who are you?

I am Antonio Libertino, from Tropea, Italy and I have a passion. I love to learn languages, as well as teaching Italian, my own language, to foreigners.That is the real joy for me and I mean it from the heart.

How has this passion started?

It all begun when I realized that I couldn't communicate with a foreign girl I fell in love with, if I didn't know at least English. What did I do? I took the first cassette course I could find and started learning as fast as I could.

Tell us about Speak Italian Magically in your own words. What is it about?

The title says it all, doesn't it? It's a book for you to Speak Italian Magically! I know you may think that this is far fetched, but let me ask you something. Do you know that athletes practice mental training before a performance? Do you know that they get better results when they imagine them-self performing at their peak? Well, with Speak Italian Magically I wanted to give you a mental training where you will first imagine yourself both in the situation and the place speaking Italian very well...Then if you follow the guidelines, you will be actually speaking very well!

So, At the same time you will experience Italian and living in a different country, all within your mind because I will guide you in a relaxed state where the learning is much improved. And I also recorded the audio with my own natural voice in two versions, bilingual and only Italian version. Because I really think that once you understand the text you should practice with the only Italian version.

Speak Italian Magically is available as Kindle ebook, as well as paperback. About the Author
Antonio Libertino is a very widely experienced teacher who has also learned English and German. In fact he loves language and cultures, both Italian and foreign, and for this reason he took the Ditals (the certificate for teaching Italian to foreigners issued by the Universit� per stranieri di Siena), the Certificate of Advanced English and went to Ferrero in Frakfurt to learn German in the winter of 2003. There he ate three kilos of Nutella (Italian creamy chocolate) in three months but he didn't put on too much weight. Now he teaches Italian to foreigners, adults and youngsters from every nationality.

A refreshingly new approach

Over the years I have used many different materials to learn Italian: Pimsleur, Michele Thomas, online learning, and a tutor. Of these Michel Thomas was easily the best in terms of learning verbs and sentence structure. However, that was about the limit of the Michel Thomas course - you have to look elsewhere for nouns, pronouns, prepositions, etc, and you will not be able to understand spoken Italian (I still highly recommend it as a launching pad into Italian).

I gradually gravitated to an approach where I sought out materials that had both spoken and written Italian as well as English translation. You need to tune your ear by listening to spoken Italian or you will be able to speak it but not understand others. You also need the Italian text so you can figure out the words you're listening to, and you need the English translation unless you want to spend half your time with a dictionary. The dictionary interruptions are particularly nonproductive when trying to saturate your mind with Italian.

I started out by watching movies that had Italian sound tracks with Italian and English subtitles. Then I found some videos on youtube where some kind souls put lyrics to the Italian songs - sometimes in English, sometimes in Italian, sometimes both. These methods are both entertaining and productive - especially the songs.

This book saves you all the trouble of finding videos, mp3s, lyrics, etc. The book uses the basic technique that I developed on my own: Listen, listen and read in Italian (using the translations for comprehension as needed), listen again.

In addition, Mr. Libertino uses enhanced learning techniques to augment the learning process. This includes inducing a state of relaxation before what I can only describe as "sinking into the lesson", because that's what it feels like. You gently sink down into the learning state, do the lesson, and then you are drawn (very reluctantly in my case) back to normal awareness. He also uses mind maps to help conceptualize and reinforce the lessons.

I am an intermediate student and I bought this to help my wife get started with Italian, but I listen to it too because it embraces not only what I have found to work but supercharges it with enhanced learning techniques. It's also quite relaxing.

The first time we listened to the lesson my wife was hooked. She couldn't wait to listen again. I asked her to name a few Italian words that she could recall from the lesson. The first thing she said was "gioia, armonia" (the audio mentions "gioia and armonia" - joy and harmony). She also recalled most of the colors mentioned. Just 10 minutes of listening!

One night I was reading the English portion of a lesson and turned the page and just kept reading, when I suddenly realized that I was reading the Italian text without having noticed the transition! I have also noticed that with repeated sessions I can listen to the Italian-only tracks and understand them without having to translate. This is Mr. Libertino's goal: to have you speak and understand Italian without working at it - to think in Italian.

You'll need more than this material to learn Italian, but you'll be hard-pressed to find anything like it in terms of providing spoken Italian along with the Italian and English text, plus the ENJOYABLE and RELAXING way this material imprints Italian on your mind. There is nothing else like it.

I read all the reviews before purchasing this book. To be honest - I wish that that one person who reviewed it so poorly was reviewing it based on the teaching style instead of complaining about money. This author clearly was very thoughtful in his teaching methods, and has a true desire for us to learn Italian. I believe he could have produced a substandard product to make a quick buck if that were his intentions. He put so must effort into this book and it's absolutely fantastic. I had started Rosetta Stone, but was so bored with it - and had also picked up 2 italian phrase books before purchasing this ebook. His adventures both in english and italian help cement these important italian words and phrases in a really interesting way. I've been living in Italy for 5 months - and his book is helping me more than anything else. I'll be living in Italy for a few years - and I greatly appreciate the author's intent and hope that he has many more books like this to come - I'll be the first to buy it! A+++++++

The Best Language Book Yet

I've always wanted to speak the Italian language but have never been able to
find a book that would teach me to do so. That is until I purchased 'Speak
Italian Magically' written by Antonio Libertino. He makes it so easy with his
new approach to learning the language. The book is such a fun way to learn
rather than the usual hellish, boring, way of the other books I've tried.
I'd definately recommend this book to any person who wishes to learn the
Italian language.
